Faith. Grief. War.

The Inquisition killed Princess Ileana. The prince, now Dracula, will bring her back at any cost. Pull the lever and see the war from one side.

Darkness

Dracula: night, coils and freedom

The Darkness is the force the prince released on his lands when he became Dracula. It fights for freedom by terrible means: the undead, coils, arcs and cyan, electromagnetism. It defends its capital castle Bran, and its road leads to Râșnov.

Laws of the side

  • Electromagnetism: coils, arcs, cyan. No steam, no brass.
  • The night belongs to the Darkness: the Zombified and the Bat Swarm appear only by night.
  • Blood instead of souls: the Darkness gathers blood points at the Blood Altar.

Ranks

  1. Servant of Shadow
  2. Hunter of Corruption
  3. Outpost Warden
  4. Voivode of Night

Light

The Inquisition: faith, steam and brass

The Inquisition has carried the Light for centuries and has subdued almost the whole planet. Its strength is faith and steam: brass, rivets, machinery and the flintlock. It defends its capital castle Râșnov, and its road leads to Bran.

Laws of the side

  • Faith takes away will: the converted become Servants of Faith.
  • Steam and machinery: brass, rivets, the flintlock.
  • The Light acts by day: Pilgrims and Spirits of Light appear only by day.

The first playable demo

Prologue: spawn at the castle, choose a side and a field role, one resource runs short and the attack is five minutes away.

Then: travel across the war map, clear a resource zone, set up supply, return and defend the outpost.

Reward: profile and role XP; the resource goes into the outpost stock. Online play is outside the demo.

World and portrayal

Dracula is a grand prince determined to bring back his murdered princess. His undead and electromagnetism face the Inquisition’s steam machinery. Neither side is good.

The name is Dracula Bastion: with a C and no apostrophe. Concept art presents the artistic direction and is not a gameplay screenshot.

The archive is assembled once the brand and the demo are final.
